Air assist on AtomStack: F30, F40, and F80

A silver air pump and an open-frame diode laser on an oak bench

Quick answer: Makerish sells three AtomStack air-assist sets: F30, F40, and F80. On 19 October 2026 the official pages do not give all three the same job. F40 is the Swift set. F80 names the A10 Pro V2, A20 Pro V2, and A40 Pro V2. F30 lists older Pro names and says it is not for Swift. Swift Mini, A5 Pro V2, and A70 Max are not named on these three pages.

Air assist blows smoke and debris off the cut so the beam stays on the material and the edge chars less. That is AtomStack’s description. It does not change the optical watt printed on the machine.

What each set prints

Set Official page, 19 October 2026 Makerish price that day
F30 Adjustable 10–30 L/min. 60 dB. Net weight 1 kg, pack 220 × 100 × 95 mm. Not compatible with Swift or the Hurricane 55W CO₂ cutter. €116.99, EU plug, VAT included
F40 Written for the Swift Laser Engraver. Plug-and-play with the tubing and power lead in the set. The page does not print a litres-per-minute figure. €82.99, EU plug, VAT included
F80 60 L/min. Independent 24V supply, rated 3A. 150 × 188 × 98 mm, net 1.14 kg. The page says it can be linked with AtomStack software, and that cutting can be up to 20% faster. That 20% is the page’s sentence, not a Makerish test. €101.99, with €149.00 also printed on the page. EU plug, VAT included

The F30 compatibility list, copied as printed, is A5 Pro, A5 M50, A5 M50 Pro, several P / S / X models, A10 Pro, A20 Pro, A30 Pro, and A40 Pro, plus AtomStack’s line that it suits 95% of engravers from other brands. The F80 page says it fits AtomStack frame machines below 70W, and it names A40 Pro V2, A20 Pro V2, and A10 Pro V2, then also names global models such as A24 and A12. Those global models are not for sale here and are not linked.

Swift F40. The Swift page also offers a configuration that pairs the Swift with the F40. F30 and F80 both say they are not for Swift.
Swift Mini Not named on the F30, F40, or F80 pages. Do not assume the Swift set fits the Mini.
A5 Pro V2 Not named. F30 lists A5 Pro and A5 M50 Pro. Those older names are not copied onto the V2.
A10 Pro V2 and A20 Pro V2 F80 names both V2 machines. F30 lists A10 Pro and A20 Pro without the V2.
A40 Pro V2 The machine Makerish sells is titled with an F60 air-assist kit. F60 is not a separate product on this shop. The F80 page also lists the A40 Pro V2 as compatible.
A70 Max Not on the F80 list. That page limits itself to frame machines below 70W. The global site has a separate A70 pump. It is not sold here, and this article does not link it.

Hurricane is on the F30 and F80 “not compatible” lines. It is also not in the European exclusive catalog. The seven hosts themselves are in The AtomStack line Makerish sells in Europe.

What you are paying for in Europe

The euro figures above are the Makerish product pages on 19 October 2026, VAT included, EU plug stated on each page. Shipping follows the shipping policy: DE warehouse, free in Germany, €9.90 to the other EU countries on that table. A lower dollar sticker on atomstack.com is the global shop’s price, not this invoice. How to read a grey listing is in the dealer check.

Frequently asked questions

Does air assist raise the watt number?

No. The official pages describe airflow that clears smoke and cools the edge. The optical class stays the one printed on the machine.

Why does F40 not have a litres-per-minute number?

The F40 page does not print one. F30 prints 10–30 L/min. F80 prints 60 L/min. Only those two figures are quoted here.

Is the F80 “20% faster” a Makerish test?

No. It is a sentence on the AtomStack F80 page. Treat it as their claim.

Can I put the F30 on a Swift?

The F30 page says no. Swift uses the F40.

I have an A40 Pro V2. Do I still need an F80?

The Makerish A40 Pro V2 is sold with an F60 kit in the product name. The F80 page also lists that machine. F60 is not sold here as its own product. If the kit already on the machine is enough, you do not add a second pump by default.

Match the pump to the name printed on the official page, then open the Makerish product for the euro price. If your machine is not in the table above, ask before you order a set.
