The AtomStack R3 Pro is a Y-axis rotary roller for 360° engraving on cylinders. Diameter is adjustable in eight steps from about 4 mm to 100 mm. The kit adds heightening columns, support shafts and a support frame so taller or irregular pieces (bottles, goblets) can sit under the laser. Makerish sells the R3 Pro in the EU from Germany.
Use the R3 Pro when you need a compact roller with risers. For current AtomStack tumbler work, also compare the R6 rotary roller. For rings, pens and odd shapes, use the R8 rotary chuck. The combined kit is the R8 Pro rotary set.

How to use it
- Raise the laser on the heightening columns so the rotary clears the frame.
- Set the roller step to the object diameter so both wheels contact the cylinder.
- Swap the Y-axis lead for the rotary lead, then enable rotary mode in LightBurn or LaserGRBL.
- Run a low-power score line before the real job.
Frequently asked questions
Will the R3 Pro engrave tumblers?
Yes, if the tumbler diameter is inside about 4–100 mm and you can raise the laser enough. Straight-wall bottles work best. Tapered goblets need the support frame so the piece does not walk.
Is this the same as the R6?
No. The R3 Pro is the older roller-plus-riser kit. The R6 is AtomStack’s current parallel-roller for uniform cylinders. Buy R6 for tumblers on current A-series and Swift machines unless you specifically need the R3 riser set.
